Excuse the radio silence but i’ve been busy (which is great!!), making and putting up artworks at a new space called Work in Progress. As the name implies, it’s a studio space where numerous artists work but it is also open to the public – who can watch, ask questions and buy finished works directly from the artists. The official launch was last night, and it was packed full, noisy and fun. I must say that i am feeling exhausted by the volume of people and interaction, being naturally hermit-like, but very good to get so much positive feedback. It’s always interesting to discover what people like and why, and the different interpretations that come up.
An old charcoal piece which i finally finished with oils, called “A Very Pink Punch In The Face”.
And on the night in all its chaos!
